Since 1998 I have called Berlin home - one of the
most exciting cities ever. Born 1975 in Dortmund in the very West, I
grew up in the South of Germany. From there I set out on several
internships abroad after achieving my high school diploma (Abitur). It
was Leipzig University where I took up my studies of History, North
American Studies and Journalism but Freie Universität Berlin
from where I graduated with an M.A. An idea had been to live in New
York for a while, which I made happen with a seven months internship.
Back in Germany I have worked for four years as a free PR consultant,
copy writer and journalist for agencies, media and companies in Berlin,
New York, Munich and Duesseldorf. Since July 2007 I am fulltime
employed as Marketing Content Manager at the eBay company
PayPal
Germany.
Interests? People. Exciting stories. Different places. Unusual ideas,
thoughts and points of view. New York, New Yorkers and being in New
York. The English language. Books. Cooking. Having guests. A life
without skiing and Italian pasta is something I could not imagine! |
